I've had issues in the past with realtors and fired a few. Personally I feel most realtors aren't proactive to sell a home, and more like to rely on other realtors to have buyers to buy your home. but Merrite is a down to earth realtor, someone you can talk to or have a serious conversation with about what you need to do to sell your home. Someone you can trust to get the job done and depend on. Even when he was unavailable to personally help us due to being out of town he still stayed in contact with us and coordinated another realtor to come and help us in a very timely matter. After we purchased our new home he still has a level of concern to help his clients. We had some issues with the new home and he made sure they were resolved in a timely matter.

I am a Colorado native from the small town of Walden. I graduated from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) with a Bachelor in Business Management in 2001. I moved away for a few years, then moved back to the Grand Valley and have been here ever since. After many years of management in the oilfield, I decided to change paths and focus my energy into my real estate career.
My wife and I live in Fruita, and we love the small town atmosphere and all the activities that the Grand Valley has to offer. My wife works with me as our team coordinator. Our youngest son attends the local school in Fruita. Our oldest is majoring in music at GCU in Phoenix.
My goal in the real estate business is to provide a quality service that I can build long standing relationships on.
